Our Projects

Metta Calana supports efforts by local people to meet the needs of women and children from Burma who are disadvantaged. We strive to enable them to live healthy and free. .

We work with local community-based organizations in Mae Sot Thailand and foster efforts to reduce the unacceptably high maternal and child mortality rates in Burma.

Metta is a Buddhist term meaning loving kindness for all living creatures. Metta Calana stands for humanitarian benevolence. All of our efforts are guided and focused through the spirit of Metta
